  Mrs. Polly Kidder was the daughter of John Eddy, Esq. of Dudley Mass. and Lydia Walker. She was born at Dudley, but removed soon after her marriage to Wardsborough, Vermont, where she resided, until a few months before her death. She was the mother of 16 children, 14 of whom lived to become men and women thus at the head of her numerous family, she possessed great ------ of character, and was held by them in the highest respect. She was indeed a model mother, and great was the exertion made by her, to qualify her children for successfulness life. Her success is her best eulogy."
